Everything you need to know about supporting our school.

Donation Receipts & Acknowledgments

What to expect after you give

Step 1

Donation is received

Staff logs the donation through the ASD reporting system — cash, check, in-kind, or otherwise.

Step 2

Acknowledgment is issued

The Development & Grants Office issues an official written acknowledgment letter with the information required for tax purposes.

Step 3

Tax receipt delivered

Your receipt is sent by email or mail. Keep it for your records — it documents the date, nature, and estimated value of your contribution.

Important: ASD can only issue official tax receipts for donations that have been reported through this system. If your donation was not logged, please report it here so we can acknowledge it properly.

In-Kind Donations: What We Can Accept

Goods and materials that directly support students and staff

In-kind donations are non-cash gifts of goods, supplies, or materials. ASD welcomes them, but all in-kind gifts must be reported so donors can receive a proper acknowledgment. Note: ASD does not provide a dollar value appraisal for in-kind gifts — donors are responsible for obtaining their own appraisal for tax purposes for gifts valued over $500.

Generally Accepted

  • Books and educational materials
